According to Rebbie Jackson, the kids are doing well and continue to heal from the loss. Prince, 13, Paris, 12, and Blanket, 8, are happy and have been around a lot of family and are getting better at dealing with the situation. According to Rebbie, “Paris’ birthday was earlier this month. They had a big party. They’re getting out, going to the cinema. They’re happy. Things are settling down. That’s good.”
The court case still is moving forward and the Jackson Estate is not looking to accept any plea bargain by Dr. Conrad Murray, the doctor accused of being negligent in the death of Michael Jackson.
Spike Lee is considering a new project called, “Brooklyn Loves Michael Jackson”. Apparently Spike Lee was torn up about the death of Michael Jackson, and got to work on writing a new movie script featuring a story about Michael Jackson. There has already been some discussion about having Samuel L. Jackson featured in the movie.
The lawyer for the doctor who is facing involuntary manslaughter charges says there will be no plea bargain. Conrad Murray was the doctor that was in charge of caring forMichael Jackson when he unfortunately passed away June 25, 2009. Conrad maintains his innocence and his lawyer proclaims that it was not the doctor who caused his death because nothing that Conrad gave him, should have killed him.
Kelly Pitt was walking home one day from a fireworks event that she had just attended when she was attacked, and badly beat up, by Amanda Williams. William who is a former heroin addict was sentenced to 26 weeks in prison for the attack that left Kelly with fractured ribs and in bad shape.
The sentencing of a store owner in New Zealand who was caught selling pirated Michael Jackson music is set to take place next month. Police raided his south Auckland store back in September 2009 and found that he was passing off not only Michael Jackson music but other artists as well.
