Neverland Ranch State Park?
Mike Davis, a California lawmaker, is proposing turning Neverland Ranch into a state park. The property that was made famous by the late Michael Jackson, fell into problems when Jackson was unable to maintain the mortgage on the 2,500 acre property. Neverland Ranch is now owned by the Jackson Family along with Colony Capital Equity Firm.
The property was purchased by Michael Jackson back in 1988 for a mere $17 million, and its now worth somewhere between $70 to $90 million. The only problem facing Mike Davis is that the state of California is currently broke and may not sit on their list of priorities.
Michael Jackson’s Tomb Vandalized
The tomb of Michael Jackson located in Glendale has reported some vandalism at the late singers grave. There were messages written on the mausoleum in black marker and crews were working on cleaning it up. The messages seemed to be that of fans missing him or of support.
The messages read, “Miss you sweet angel!” and “Keep the dream alive”. Pictures were made available by TMZ.com. The cemetery was not sure when the vandalism was done and no police report has been filed.
Michael Jackson: The Experience – Game Update!
The highly anticipated Michael Jackson game gets a new name and release. The company behind the game, Ubisoft, announced after their press conference that the game will feature dancing, moonwalking and MJ’s hit songs. It has been confirmed that it will include “Beat It” and “Billie Jean”.
The Michael Jackson game is set to be released for the 2010 holidays and is sure to be a sure sell out. It will be available across all major consoles such as DS, PS3, PSP, Wii, and Xbox 360. The interactive game will allow fans to mimic some of MJ’s best songs and moves and will give them a place to cherish their lost hero.
