Michael Jackson Back in the Money

Well it looks like the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, has turned things around and he did it unfortunately from the grave. When Michael Jackson passed away he was in a mound of debt and was in some serious financial trouble, but it looks like things have done a complete 360 degrees. According to TMZ, documents that were recently obtained shows MJ moving in the right direction and that his value is on the rise.

When Michael Jackson passed away his net worth was around $50 million, which was in part due to his massive borrowing that really put a damper on his assets including his Beatles catalog. As of October 2010 the pop stars estate value jump significantly to around $219 million, and that doesn’t even include the money that was paid out for various expenses.

While the current value of his estate continues to rise, there is no figure yet to where it may be now. However, it is estimated that it is much higher than what was reported in October of last year. We do know this, MJ was a star unlike any other in history and we don’t see why his value wouldn’t continue to rise as his legacy grows even stronger after death. Michael Jackson may be gone, but he is in the hearts of many around the world.

The Moonwalk was Born on March 25th

On March 25th, 1983 Michael Jackson went on Motown’s 25th Anniversary Concert and shocked the world when he unveiled The Moonwalk. During the performance he would show something that would forever change his career and set the stage for a life of total stardom. Performing “Billie Jean” on stage with his signature white glove, he would rock the world of music when he unknowingly demonstrated a dance move that the world had yet to witness. The MJ performance at the Motown concert is still of his most known and famous moments in his music career.

Jackson Memorabilia Fetches $1M in China

There was an auction this weekend in China for some celebrity memorabilia, and there was some items of Michael Jackson’s there that reaped in a million at the sale. Saturday was the largest celebrity auction held to date in the Asian region.

The biggest selling items were that of a black studded glove, a signed basketball, and one of his famous Beat It jackets. The glove which he wore in 1995 for a video shoot brought in $180,000. A basketball that was signed by him and the famous Michael Jordan went for another $245,000, while the jacket brought in $156,000.

Many other items went on sale from Bruce Lee’s sneakers to Marilyn Monroe’s black lace bra.

Michael Jackson’s House Selling For $29 Million

The mansion that Michael Jackson rented when he passed away in 2009 is on the market and is looking for a buyer, the going price for MJ’s home is $29 million.

This beautiful home which has 7 bedrooms and a 7 car garage is complete with 13 toilets and totals over 17,000 square feet. The home is located in a fancy upscale neighborhood in Los Angeles.

The home was also up for sale back in 2008, but did not find a buyer. The news about his home going up for sale already has several MJ fans already interested, at least at trying to get a sneak peek inside the famous mansion.

Michael Jackson Magazines – Added 300 More Pictures!

Some of these magazine pictures are dating back to the early 70′s and include many of the top magazine publishers. They range from Ebony, Jet, Rolling Stone to some international magazines. Michael was featured in so many magazines in his lifetime due to his popularity and truly unique performance style.

Neverland Ranch State Park?

Mike Davis, a California lawmaker, is proposing turning Neverland Ranch into a state park. The property that was made famous by the late Michael Jackson, fell into problems when Jackson was unable to maintain the mortgage on the 2,500 acre property. Neverland Ranch is now owned by the Jackson Family along with Colony Capital Equity Firm.

The property was purchased by Michael Jackson back in 1988 for a mere $17 million, and its now worth somewhere between $70 to $90 million. The only problem facing Mike Davis is that the state of California is currently broke and may not sit on their list of priorities.

Michael Jackson’s Tomb Vandalized

The tomb of Michael Jackson located in Glendale has reported some vandalism at the late singers grave. There were messages written on the mausoleum in black marker and crews were working on cleaning it up. The messages seemed to be that of fans missing him or of support.

The messages read, “Miss you sweet angel!” and “Keep the dream alive”. Pictures were made available by TMZ.com. The cemetery was not sure when the vandalism was done and no police report has been filed.

Michael Jackson’s Doctor Can Keep Medical License

The doctor who was taking care of Michael Jackson up to the day he died will be allowed to keep his medical license, at least for now. Conrad Murray, who is on trial relating to the death of MJ, is accused of giving a lethal dose of a drug called Propofol. Judge Michael E. Pastor rejected a request to suspend the Conrad’s license today Los Angeles.

The judge did say that the California Medical Board could seek to suspend his license to practice medicine at a future administrative proceeding. Conrad throughout the day sat silently with members of the Jackson Family and supporters in attendance.

MJ Fans to Protest at LA Courthouse

Fans of the great Michael Jackson are expected to protest outside the LA Courthouse where the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray is being held. The group, Justice4MJ, has scheduled a protest to help combat Conrad’s supporters. The group is calling for people to show up to show your support of MJ.
