The group that would ever change music as the world would know it.  The Jackson 5 born out of Gary, Indiana  was the hit group that would give rise to Michael Jackson’s solo career.  The Jackson 5 group members were Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and the yet to be famous Michael.

    1969 I was 4 years old, my mom was watching Ed Sullivan and he introduced this young group on his show, I was watching but had no idea who Ed Sullivan was, But when this little beautiful child with the face of an angel started singing, and smiling I fell madly in love with him, He had me forever from that point. The song was "Whose Loving You?" And the young man was Michael Jackson, that electric smile, those eyes, the dancing all hooked me as a life long fan. I named my first born son after Michael.... Never told anyone that, not even my son nor his father... But the day MJ died I felt the need to be honest and Tell my son and his brothers and sister Who he was definitely named after.. They all thought I was nuts, But I said.. cant be any more nuts the your uncle naming his son after Tevin Campbell.. at least Michael was someone worht naming my child after... He still had me, Those eyes, that smile, those dance moves... He had it all and he held me in his grasp.. i will forever remember 1969 and i will forever remember Michael Joseph Jackson with great fondness and love that will be eternal!! LOVE YOU MORE MICHAEL JACKSON!!!
