Michael Jackson’s Doctor Can Keep Medical License

The doctor who was taking care of Michael Jackson up to the day he died will be allowed to keep his medical license, at least for now.  Conrad Murray, who is on trial relating to the death of MJ, is accused of giving a lethal dose of a drug called Propofol.  Judge Michael E. Pastor rejected a request to suspend the Conrad’s license today Los Angeles.

The judge did say that the California Medical Board could seek to suspend his license to practice medicine at a future administrative proceeding.  Conrad throughout the day sat silently with members of the Jackson Family and supporters in attendance.

MJ Fans to Protest at LA Courthouse

Fans of the great Michael Jackson are expected to protest outside the LA Courthouse where the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray is being held.  The group, Justice4MJ, has scheduled a protest to help combat Conrad’s supporters.  The group is calling for people to show up to show your support of MJ.

No Plea Bargain for Conrad Murray

The lawyer for the doctor who is facing involuntary manslaughter charges says there will be no plea bargain.  Conrad Murray was the doctor that was in charge of caring forMichael Jackson when he unfortunately passed away June 25, 2009.  Conrad maintains his innocence and his lawyer proclaims that it was not the doctor who caused his death because nothing that Conrad gave him, should have killed him.

The defense maintains that Michael Jackson took the drug Propofol when Conrad Murray stepped away for a few minutes, and that is what caused the Death of Michael Jackson.  The prosecution says the doctor was negligent in the caring of MJ.

Dr. Conrad Murray: Michael Killed Himself

The doctor who gave the late Michael Jackson the fatal cocktail says that the king of pop killed himself, at least that is his legal defense.  The defense is that Conrad Murray gave MJ the proper amount of the drug Propofol, however when the doctor left Michael took more of the drug in his absence. 

At 10:50 am Mr. Murray gave Michael 25 mg of the drug and then stayed with him for an hour while he slept.  Then around noon Conrad left the room briefly and says that Michael awakened suddenly, and in his frustration took more of the drug so he could fall asleep.  So in essence, Michael killed himself.

Conrad Murray Faces License Suspension

The doctor of the late Michael Jackson who is alleged to have given the star a lethal dose of some powerful drugs is set to possibly lose his medical license.  The claim states that he acted or exercised poor judgement in the incident that occurred last year at the home of Michael.

The petition to have his license revoked was filed in Los Angeles who did so on behalf of the California Medical Board.  The doctor faces involuntary manslaughter charges in which he has plead not guilty to, and is currently out on bail.
