Michael Jackson Back in the Money

Well it looks like the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, has turned things around and he did it unfortunately from the grave. When Michael Jackson passed away he was in a mound of debt and was in some serious financial trouble, but it looks like things have done a complete 360 degrees. According to TMZ, documents that were recently obtained shows MJ moving in the right direction and that his value is on the rise.

When Michael Jackson passed away his net worth was around $50 million, which was in part due to his massive borrowing that really put a damper on his assets including his Beatles catalog. As of October 2010 the pop stars estate value jump significantly to around $219 million, and that doesn’t even include the money that was paid out for various expenses.

While the current value of his estate continues to rise, there is no figure yet to where it may be now. However, it is estimated that it is much higher than what was reported in October of last year. We do know this, MJ was a star unlike any other in history and we don’t see why his value wouldn’t continue to rise as his legacy grows even stronger after death. Michael Jackson may be gone, but he is in the hearts of many around the world.

PETA Wants Neverland Ranch For An Animal Sanctuary

The famous Neverland Ranch has been lying dormant without a vision of what to do with the property. However, PETA just recently expressed they would like the children of MJ to convert the property into a animal sanctuary for rescued animals. Michelle Cho who represents PETA, sent a letter to the children detailing the plans or at least an idea for turning Neverland Ranch into a place where animals can seek shelter.

“We are writing because it has come to our attention that you hope to one day turn your father’s Neverland Ranch into a community park and center for animals,” Cho writes. “We encourage you to call for this vast refuge to be turned into a true wildlife sanctuary where animals can be properly taken care of instead of a zoo, where people are encouraged to gawk at imprisoned animals in the name of profit.”

Neverland was home to many animals with the most famous being “Bubbles” the chimp, and Michael cared for and loved his animals very much. According to PETA President, Ingrid E. Newkirk, turning the ranch into a place where animals can live in peace would be a perfect way to memorialize the late Michael Jackson.

Michael Jackson: “The Experience” for Xbox and PS3

Ubisoft’s video game featuring Michael Jackson is set to be released on Tuesday for the Xbox and PS3, and it will be Kinect compatible allowing for complete game involvement. The game, Michael Jackson: “The Experience” has already sold 3 million copies and is set to further gain in the ranks as a top seller. Along with it being compatible with Xbox’s Kinect, it will also be fully workable with PlayStation’s Move motion controller. Players and fans will be able to dance and move just like MJ and have the chance to be just like him.

The game will also feature a new singing mode along with new songs that were not released on previous copies. There are also features such as costumes, authentic Michael Jackson dance moves, and a practice mode that will turn your house into a dance party.

Since the death of MJ, the amount of games available to fans has gone crazy. There are companies coming out with games, flash games, and every other game you can think of. While some of these games help to put MJ in a good light, some are out there that ridicule. Last year, around Christmas time there was “Michael Jackson: The Experience” that allowed fans and gamers to jump into the shoes of legendary King of Pop.

Michael Jackson “Rock with You”

In 1979 Michael Jackson released “Rock with You” that would be part of his 5th album. The song reached number one on the billboards and soon became one of the most popular songs by MJ. The song along with the beat and lyrics shot the album to number one on the R&B and Pop Charts. The video showed a young Michael Jackson dancing in what was a laser light show and it captivated the fans and helped further push his career into a life of stardom.

Prisoners Perform Michael Jackson Tribute

Tribute to Michael Jackson in Istanbul

Michael Jackson Dance Tribute in Stockholm

In Stockholm there was a large tribute to the late Michael Jackson, in fact it was a large dance tribute. About 300 people met and learned the moves, once set they took the moves to the street and performed in memory of “The King of Pop”.
