Michael Jackson artwork has been seen in my forms, and shapes, but this is the first time we have seen the iconic figure made from recycled cassette tapes.
The very clever, and talented, artist is Erika Simmons who is from Chicago. Erika started creating the works of art nearly 6 years ago using old tapes that were once part of our everyday lives.
People around the world donate used VHS tapes, cassette tapes, and any other type of tape that Erika can now use to create works of art. Each of her works, which include many more people than simply MJ, often will take her weeks to finish.
